Ninjaspark

After 13 years Ninjaspark finally reunited at Subkultfestivalen this summer. One of the band members celebrated his birthday at the reunion so their instruments ended up covered in a layer of cake and blood.

Ninjaspark is never lazy when it comes to giving everything they've got for the crowd, even if it includes a trip to the hospital for medical care afterwards. Come and celebrate Halloween with the band that mixes annoyingly catchy chiptune music, poisoned with pure madness!

Jeroen Tel

Get ready for a spine-chilling musical journey as legendary Dutch video game music composer Jeroen Tel takes the stage. Known for his iconic soundtracks in the Commodore 64 era, Jeroen is a pioneer in chiptune music which we are proud to present.

Boy vs Bacteria

Blending danceable videogame vibes, electrifying beats, and catchy pop tunes, Boy vs Bacteria takes listeners on a vibrant musical adventure with retro gaming sounds!

Karategamers

Karategamers is back again to provide us with even more video games to play than at our regular nightclub.

DJs & Crew

A party with Syntax Error would not be complete without our nerdy DJs filling in the time between artists with chiptunes, video game remixes, TV themes, happy hardcore and Disney songs. Nor would it even function without our crew keeping everything running, decorated and filled with delightful little details.

Costume Competition

Everyone at the event is automatically a part of our costume competition, you do not need to register specifically to partake.

The prize giving ceremony will be held during the night, where the winners will be announced by our judges.

The competition itself will be judged on the following criteria:

  • Uniqueness
  • Creativity
  • Execution/ Composition
In two categories:
  • Best Single Costume (3 prices)
  • Best Group (1 price)
With this said this is a fun light-hearted competition with the goal to encourage our guests to dress up a bit, although it's of course not mandatory in any way.

We also have our own photographer at the venue shooting awesome photos of everyone who wants to. 

    Indie Game Exhibitor

    An exhibitor ticket provides you with a table, electricity and WiFi in the Karategamers arcade during the event where you can set up and promote your own game or even a random game of your choice.

    Magasinet

    The Halloween Special takes place in Magasinet on Söder Mälarstrand near Slussen.

    Doors open at 20:00 and the wardrobe is included in the ticket. You can buy an online ticket up until and even during the event, though we really appreciate if you buy yours as early as possible. There are no tickets at the door.
